Malaysia’s Youth and ٍSports Deputy Minister gets Veative Experience

Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia’s Youth and Sports Deputy Minister, Steven Sim, gets the Veative Experience at the mydigitalmarker Fair 2018 held at the Axiata Arena on 29th and 30th September 2018, Malaysia.

#mydigitalmaker is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to transform Malaysian youth from digital users to producers in the digital economy. The Fair is designed to provide students, teachers and parents a hands-on digital experience by featuring activities such as robotics, drone-making and racing, 3D printing, career talks and digital-based competitions. The #mydigitalmaker Fair 2018 is part of the #mydigitalmaker Movement, an initiative to prepare the next generation for the future of work. The event hosts more than 30,000 Malaysian guests and 20 global companies.

Almotahida Education Group, participated in this fair to showcase its technology and innovation in education. Steven Sim, Deputy Minister Youth and Sports, graced the event with his presence. Almotahida Education Group Malaysia introduced Mr. Sim to Veative, a brand that aims to digitize Malaysia’s education system through Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality. Steven Sim was intrigued by the idea as he experienced what Veative has to offer. The Deputy Minister experienced Virtual Reality and was informed about the Veative STEM library with 500+ modules that are mapped to Malaysian and international curriculum to promote the digitization of STEM education in lower and higher secondary institutions.
